Help Sankardev Sewa Samiti Support Daily Wagers During COVID Lockdown!

Goal of the campaign :

India stands at the cross-roads of #Corona containment. Only route for India is Preventive care, for which #Lockdown is imperative. In this scheme of affairs, the daily wagers are the worst hit primarily for 2 reasons :-

 a. They barely have any savings due to their hand-to-mouth conditions

b. Lockdown stops any income - until further notice!

 Sensing this simmering undercurrent of panic, Government of India has started few campaigns to reach out to the most vulnerable now. The Government has also appealed to the General Citizens to come forward and contribute in their own specific capacities.

Shri Shri Sankardev Sewa Samiti stands true to its twin motto - Sewa and Nation Building and had already launched its initiative to distribute essential items to the less privileged brothers and sisters.

The kits contain the following :-

1. Food bag containing - rice, dal, wheat flour, potato, onion, salt and cooking oil

2. Baby Food (conditional to infants being in the household) & glucose biscuits

3. Hand sanitizers and masks

We now intend to take it forward to the following locations :-

1. Parts of Assam

2. Navi Mumbai

3. Mumbra

4. Parts of Mumbai

Targeted Demographies :-

1.        Low income groups

2.        BPL category

3.        Slum dwellers

4.        Ghumakkars /nomads groups

 Only when the last member of this Nation is free from Corona, India will truly free from Corona. Let us step up.
