Support Us Feed The Underprivileged Needy And The Corona Fighters!

The Vision:

i) Feeding the underprivileged while educating them and equipping them with healthcare knowledge and kits respectively

ii) Controlling the issue of distressed migrant workers by supplying the essentials and counselling them 

iii) Assisting the farmers with their supply-chain issues 

iv) Creating a video-medical-consulting system to aid the needy 

v) Build a volunteer-base to assist other NGOs and front-line warriors (police mostly)

The team got supported by the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Karnataka (the department governing the official war-room in the state) and the outcomes by 20th April 2020 are as follow:

The Outcomes:

i) 35,000 meals served to the underprivileged sections (on an average of 1,500 meals per day)

ii) 800 Healthcare (1 sanitizer, 1 mask, 1 soap) and 800 Rationkits (5 kg rice, 1 kg wheat flour, 1 kg pulse, 1 L oil, 2 kg potato, 1 kg Rawa) distributed especially among the migrant workers

iii) 800 migrant workers have been physically addressed with the above essential-kits and one-to-one counselling

iv) 50 farmers got helped to supply their produces

v) A team of 20 doctors got set for online consulting, nearly 250 calls have been taken by the team. Also, nearly 100 door-to-door delivery of medicines has been done pan-Karnataka

The team has also been trying to assist various departments of the government with policies and executions to minimize the effects of the pandemic. Various organisations like ISKCON's Akshay Patra, Antarbhaava, etc. have been assisted. The idea has been to maximize the efforts and minimize the adversities.
