Restoration of Ettannil Shiva Temple in Tripunithura, Kerala

Ettannil temple is an ancient Shiva temple situated near Tripunithura in suburban Kochi, Kerala. The temple was consecrated by the highly revered Sreenarayana Guru Swami which hosts the prathishtta for Shiva, Parvathi and also Aiyappa Swamy. The Kavanal family has been protecting and running the temple to the best of their abilities. The temple has a Pandit and is open for daily worship. But the family needs our financial support for temple restoration activities which includes renovation of gaushala, maintenance of sarpa kaavu (sacred grove), restoration of kalyani (temple pond) and also fencing the temple area to prevent encroachments. The temple family wants as many Hindus to participate and contribute to this sankalpa to incrementally build the movement towards a Hindu Resurgence in Kerala which is the need of the hour. For the Hindu civilisation to continue, the temple bells need to keep ringing. We are at an important juncture in our journey and Kerala is a critical state as we all know. Therefore requesting all Hindus to lend a hand to those who are striving hard in preserving our Dharma, Sanskriti, Dhara and finally our Rashtra with one temple at a time.  It doesnt matter HOW MUCH we contribute. But what matters is HOW MANY contribute. There lies the difference between DHAANA and SANKALPA.
